God is Faithful

Drawing Near to God (day 3) By Laura Grace

God is faithful, even when we are not. He sees the journey we have embarked on, wanting to know him. I was studying Matthew 16 today, thinking about How Peter was commended by Jesus for saying out loud what the Father Revealed: “YOU ARE THE CHRIST”

Later in that same chapter, Jesus rebuked him and said “get behind me satan” because Peter disagreed that Jesus had to go to the cross. Suffering the cross had to happen, for Jesus to save us all. What is your Cross (so to speak?)

For some, it looks like the devil is winning, while you continue on, crucifying the flesh and refusing to deny God and his power to save! Is God going to be faithful to get you through it?

Of course he is! Jesus did not say we would not suffer tribulation in this world. He said if we suffer WITH him we will also rule with him.

“And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.” 1 Peter 5:10 That is God being Faithful! He himself will restore you. 🙏😎🥰

Just because you are “going through it” does not mean you won’t win (IN HIM).

Dreaming with God, And the Power of that……..

I’ve been praying a lot and doing a bible study called “changing your reality” by Wendy Backlund 🙂 It’s good!

The last challenge is the power of your imagination, which, my friend, John, has mentioned to me a couple of times. I would hear that word “imagination” and wasn’t sure God was okay with it! But it literally means to dream with God. You know, before I decorated my Christmas tree this year, I sat and “imagined” what it would look like before I began to place the ornaments.😮

Now, have you ever noticed when you “imagine” a certain outcome with people, it almost never goes the way you imagined? LOL This is because of free will! You can’t change them, Just you!!! You and God are a majority! Others may follow. 🙂

If you imagine YOURSELF attaining certain goals, did your know your imagination is more powerful than your ability to just weather through because someone said you had to? It’s a proven fact what you dream about affects your ability to achieve it!

You “see” how your house will look clean, you “SEE” what a day looks like if you decide to be grateful all day, you SEE yourself OVERCOMING some obstacle. YOU SEE yourself getting that task done that looks like a mountain right now.

You don’t just speak something, you also SEE the obstacle (or mountain) being leveled! Can you see it with me?

Incidentally, I was a very shy person who used to visibly SHAKE when I would stand in front of people. I had to visualize myself speaking to large groups (AND PRAY) In order to achieve that. It was a walk of faith for me! What we dream, we can become!!!

I hope this was an encouragement to you today! 🙏🔥
