The bible does not say “Take abuse”
Forgive yes, turn the other cheek sure!
Some people are relentless abusers and you will have to turn away …
or pay the price of some mental issues of your own as a result.
Read 2 Timothy below: It does NOT say love them more, wear yourself out, compromise what you believe or “back down and shut up about Jesus”
God built in a way of escape for you “WALK AWAY” or “Turn away” …..
You are not anyone’s whipping boy, scapegoat, or target for constant abuse. If God doesn’t “make it stop” you will have to walk away, turn away and say “okay I’m done now” bye! Trying to conquer them is not wise.
“He who corrects a scoffer gets shame for himself, And he who rebukes a wicked man only harms himself” Proverbs 9:7
“But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:
For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!” -2 Timothy 3 1-5 NKJV.
