Be Filled, not drained!

CUP OF LIFEHi there! Laura Grace, Author, Christian, every day human being, serving God on planet Earth! There was a song we used to sing in church: “Fill my cup Lord, I lift it up, Lord,” I just loved that song, Sort of a prayer song, you know?

Anyway, so we are vessels, the bible says, and when we learn to hold water, (of the Word) Then we are a container to help refresh others (my bible says).

However, there are those who will drain us, refuse to learn to receive (themselves) or some who even try to contaminate the living water (of our soul) with corruption, bitterness, or whatever they seem to be carrying around. This is where ministry gets tricky.

There seems to be this outcry now days, one in which everyone is saying, “don’t make me feel bad about myself, don’t judge me, don’t hurt me with your words!”

I by no means wish to Hurt anyone, and any good minister I know, doesn’t wish to do that either. Oh sure, there are a few out there, who could care less who they slay with their tongue, but there also comes a time the truth must be said, and as the saying goes, “the truth hurts’ There is really no way around it.

Therefore, while I believe in being kind, gentle, loving, forgiving, and merciful…………

If someone is contaminating my well, (of salvation) or polluting my living water with their ways, opinions, bitterness, and relentless arguments……I have to cut them off.

If I allow myself to be polluted and contaminated with the rudiments and beliefs of this world, the Living Water God has given me to share with others, will be of no value to anyone. And this is why my darlings, while we hope to be open-minded (to a degree) we cannot afford to be door mats. Mercy understands Holiness, Holiness understands Love, Love understands Righteousness, all of the attributes of God are hinged together, and cannot be separated. God does not separate himself from himself! Love you ….

have a great day (in Jesus) Laura Grace (Author) Grace to the Rescue series.

HOW do we Escape Corruption? and falling away?

RAINBOW FLOWERS

Good Morning! you know, God spoke to me, Back in March 2016

About Corruption. If We are constantly exposed to the elements of

This world, WITHOUT The continual preserving power of God’s Spirit,

WE can become corrupt. Revelation 2 talks about a corrupt church.

Many know, (down deep) they should not be holding a grudge, or

hating anyone, but they do it anyway. God doesn’t hate anyone, but

Corrupt Christians are bad examples………

Let those who have become corrupt, bear the weight of their own shame!

They know better. (They really do). Hebrews 10 and Hebrews 16 talks about

This very thing: You know better!

God writes his laws on our hearts…….

Corruption happens when Christians refuse to let God change them,

or let the Kingdom of God be built within them……

and like Judas, THEY KNOW BETTER!

I counsel you, God counsels you, Jesus counsels you (and us)

Go for the Gold! Ask for refining! escape corruption!

God’s not mean #1 What’s standing between you and him?

Bright sayings #18

Hi, It’s me again, Laura Grace.

I was actually coloring in my adult color book when this came to me. I did pray today, asked The Lord to speak into my life. I have something to share with you right now, something very important. When God said “thou shalt have no other gods before me”

He didn’t just mean other gods, as in religious statues, or Zeus, or whoever. He also

meant your problem, your child, your spouse, your job……….Money Problems?

Anything taking over your mind can be an idol. So much for pointing fingers at drug

addicts, or whoever YOU think is in sin, right? Right! NOW (here’s  the good part) THE
REASON! God’s not mean! He doesn’t demand in a roll of thunder we have no other gods

because he is going to get so furious at us for not putting him first. The Jealousy he has is

a love type of jealousy, not the fleshly type we are used to seeing, or experiencing.

GET THIS: He just loves you so much, he doesn’t want these other things getting in your way so, he can’t really speak to you, can’t get across to you, what he wants to say. He cries

over it, weeps over it………..

Now, if you hate God, have sided with the devil and are shaking your fist at him, that’s another story! But if you are his child? HE JUST WANTS YOU TO GET IT! So badly he said,

No other gods…….no problem no nothing, don’t let it get between us, (he is saying) Because I really WANT YOU TO get MY WISDOM ……….Because I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!

Well thank you Father, Thank you love us SO much (THAT MUCH) That you would do anything for us to get it. Even sending your Son (Jesus) ……to spoil all those principalities

and powers……….Your anointed servant,

Laura Grace (Peace!)

Let Go, and Let God….change you

TWO PICTURE GROWING

Letting Go

A poem by Laura Grace   based on James 1:22-25

Let go of what you cannot change

Your life will never be the same

Cast your cares upon the Lord

Hold your ground, wield your sword

The sword of truth, the shield of faith

Keeps you alive, to run your race

Enjoy the ride, as much as you can

Pray to become a brand new man

It’s really simple, and talk is cheap

You’ll be transformed, if you just stay meek

The Meek inherit, all good things

And stay out of trouble, whatever life brings

Do you know why, this saying is true?

Because, Revival

Begins with you

a quiet accomplisher, behind the scenes….By Laura Grace

ME In 2011 boys and girls clubHi! I’m Laura! Good Morning to you! You know, I come from a long line of “accomplishers” behind the scenes. One of My Grandma’s made thousands of cookies, thousands of meals, and made people laugh thousands of times, with her contagious laughter. She, along with my other grandma, did not have face book to share pics of their grandkids, meals, or Joyful times.

I remember scraping up change, to afford the developing of film, and sending my best pics to my grandma’s (and Mom) desperately trying to share (the moments of our lives) so I truly do appreciate social media, it keeps us in the loop!

I was thinking today, about the thousands of times my mom made meals for us, and even after I grew up, how I couldn’t wait to go have some of her home cooking. OH the excitement of sitting down, being handed a plateful of love, and then the BIG question, would you like cake? “I made oatmeal cookies, want one?”

Oh, the every day love, of remarkable women, who do every day tasks, just because someone loves for them to do it!

I’ve got my own list of accomplishments, Great spaghetti maker, Lasagna, and other certain things I consider to be “my specialty.” I know over 120 songs on guitar, self taught, plus the songs I’ve written! I spent 20 years writing in Journals, trying to keep a record of life, what God was saying to my heart, how I felt about it, all kinds of things…….

And now, this year, marks my 4th year of authoring books, a new area, I ventured into, as the Spirit of God urges me on……..

Hey, I know there are many who appreciate me, they tell me so, every day! I’m not famous and I’m GLAD! Today, on memorial day, I am remembering the people who matter to me right now, (who are still alive!) along with those who have gone before me. I am remembering every day people, who simply cherish life, their loved ones, and do those thousands of tasks, every day, without fail, getting no recognition for it, and the simple reward of knowing “THEY LOVED” Enough to do it!

God sees you doing that ………..you know? He really does! And he writes it all down!

Happy Memorial day! with love, Laura Grace

Bullies, and the needs of the many ……

bullies 2bullies

Bullies! We all know they are bad, and tend to intimidate, such as in this scene (above) from Little House on the Prairie, where the town of Walnut Grove, is visited by bullies.

In this episode, (called the Bully boys) the kind, nice, and even hospitable town’s people, are duped into helping a clan, which they later learn, are bullies.

We sort of get the feeling it’s because of their Christian charity, that they ever open their doors to these guys (who are bullies) In the first place!

Hey I’m just one little gal from Montana (who Prays) Not saying I know much, but I do know what a bully is, when I see one, and I do know about COMMON SENSE!

WE need Spock-like thinkers for leaders (Speaking of Hollywood) who say things like “The needs of the many, outweigh, the needs of the few.” And, Spock was no hypocrite, he did lay down his life (for the needs of the many) in the Wrath of Khan. There was none of this, “Oh Poor Khan,” He just had a difficult time, and needs to steal our ship! Nope!

In this little house episode, the town took care of it, ran the bullies out of town. They didn’t have to pray first, wonder if they were walking in love, or whether they were being politically correct (or not). A bully is a person who believes the need of the ONE (them) outweighs the needs of “everyone else” and they use intimidation, manipulation, threats, and whatever else they can grab hold of, (a big stick?) to get their way.

Captain Kirk constantly defended his ship, and the town of Walnut Grove drove out the bullies, in an awesome scene, where they were grabbed by the scruff of the neck, escorted out of town, and sent back to where they came from (wherever it was.) So then, tell me, are we thinking in terms of how the needs of the many, outweigh the needs of the few?

So, can you think of any situations right now, where a small group of people, who have “a right” To take over the nation are getting away with it? In the name of THEIR COMFORT?

Because ultimately, that’s what a bully is. It is someone who doesn’t care how it affects everyone else, so long as they feel better, and they are going to use guilt, threats, manipulation, “I WILL SUE YOU” ……..to get their way. Enough said. -Laura Grace

Have you had the gift of….being wounded? You have to read this!

A PICTURES of fRIENDSProverbs 27:6 “Faithful are the wounds of a friend”

God really put this message on my heart this morning! Have you ever been wounded by a friend? Now, there are two kinds of wounds. Careless critics wound us or hurt us in a bad way, its not productive. Faithful friends wound us as they plant a seed into the soil of open hearts, ready to receive from God. However if we do not receive the minister as a vessel chosen of God (for that time) it will be easy to be misunderstood, therefore we have to have ready hearts, which are open to correction, for this process to work.

My minister friend, Diamond Kelley, used to write me letters that sometimes wounded me, as the words of Truth (from the Holy Spirit) went in.

I remember this one time, he was talking about Hell fire, in response to my being all upset (about something) and he basically told me I was allowing the fire of hell, to be stirred up inside of me, and really I was being like those who told Jesus, “Should we call down fire on them?” I remember it hurt, because It was not my desire to be this way, therefore I thought, I was not this way! I started to argue and defend myself and he said, “You asked me to tell you the truth, do you want me to stop ministering to you?”

“No!” I said, emphatically. I knew I needed correction, but my Flesh was upset!

So, I will tell you this, one time I read this passage, “Faithful are the wounds of a friend” and I did ponder it, and prayed to receive (from any friend) God sends to speak into my life. I prayed I would not miss it, or cast away any correction from him!

Therefore I have benefited, from many faithful wounds, where new plans of God (for my growing) have went into the soil of my heart. God’s way is always gently, and in a Spirit of Love. He is not into us being fire and brimstone preachers.

We live in a world where many are easily offended, touchy, feelings oriented, and always concerned that someone is upsetting them, infringing on their rights, speaking words that just make them crazy (apparently) because oh my goodness sakes, if I don’t want to hear this, you had better shut up, Christian, or “off with your tongue!”

It’s sad, because ultimately they are saying God should just get out of their face, we don’t want your wisdom,  and the attitude is: “Get out of my life, God, unless you make me feel good about myself!” And guess what, He will (stay away from you) and now you are left with yourself, and your lack of wisdom, as honestly, His wounds (which cause our growing)

are only for our benefit, and never for our harm. With Love and prayers, Laura Grace

PS: Are you a friend who will risk making someone feel wounded? Or will you just say what they want to hear, compromising, as Aaron Did, when Moses left him in charge? Our flesh will never want correction, ever. It will always hurt. That’s the truth (my friends).

Is there a recipe, for growing? Here’s a start

GROW CoVER.jpgClick to buy: https://www.amazon.com/Grace-Grow-Study-Guide-Laura-ebook/dp/B01BZG0ICW?ie=UTF8&keywords=Grace%20to%20grow%20by%20Laura%20Grace&qid=1463327454&ref_=sr_1_1&sr=8-1

In 1 Peter it says, “But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue, knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness, love.
For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.”
Christians love the song Amazing Grace, and so do I.

However, singing the song does not make a person become “un-blind” no matter how many times we sing it. Likewise, we are given the recipe for growing, in this power-packed verse.

So many times, Christians are led through a process of repentance, asking Jesus into their hearts, then on to going to church, attending services, singing songs (such as Amazing Grace) and then sent out into the world to “preach the gospel” to every creature. How can they preach a gospel they are not familiar with?
It’s like asking children to go out and get jobs. Consequently, many grow up (in church) believing that love is always the answer, and, not really understanding the definition of Love, proceed to fall into all kinds of sins, temptations, and doctrines that say a loving God would never send anyone to hell.
Without the knowledge of what the Word of God truly means, how can anyone clearly make such a statement? God is love, He is mercy, he is kindness, but He is also uncompromising, and a consuming fire. He is so many things, and we need to know this, and experience it, for ourselves. This is what is called a Testimony. A personal witness, where you have experienced God (and his fullness) for yourself.
You are Holy Spirit taught, blood bought, and you know the voice of God for yourself, just as the Lord intended. Don’t settle for less than what the Lord has in mind for you, and be willing to allow the Holy Spirit to teach you, as you study and read the bible for yourself. Don’t take someone else’s word for it, as to what you should believe. Eternity is at stake, and I know you don’t want to lead others astray.

Why do Athletes Run?

me in the light

God’s talking to me about the athlete, this morning.

Why does an athlete Run? (every day?) ….He runs
to obtain the prize (in the case of an athlete) but just
as any other thing God (inspired) His Apostles to say,
we are too look beyond what it says, and see how it
applies to us, exactly …….by God’s Spirit.
So this Morning I see an Athlete Runs to obtain a prize,
but we run to obtain our high calling (in Christ Jesus)
and just like with the Athlete, each day we run, each
time we have focus, we get stronger and stronger, day
by day. Then we are in shape to receive and walk in
(our high calling) ……………
Athletes do this, regardless if anyone runs with them or not.
We have a coach who never leaves us, His name is, the Holy Spirit.
Just as Jesus promised, he did not leave us comfortless, or without
a companion, and friend. Thank you Father, for making your Spirit real to us today …..
It was your desire that we never feel alone…….and, we aren’t! Unless we push this precious friend you sent to us away, we really are not alone…..thank you Father!
In Jesus’ name, amen

2 Timothy 2:5 And also if anyone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules.
