Controversial Stuff…….

IF someone wants to sin, it’s really none of our business! Did you know that, Christian? I want you to notice, even in the case of the woman caught in Adultery, Jesus did not join the rally of rabid rabble rousers who wanted to punish her for sinning.

He came to bring a totally different message than what the Pharisees were preaching. Paul was a Pharisee who BECAME a Christian, and another son of God after Jesus, the first born of many sons. If someone came into the church and said “Let’s have a Kegger and a Margurita party” Instead of a potluck, everyone would know this is wrong. I would dare say, even many who claim to be “born” of a different sexual orientation would, deep down know this is wrong. The gospel says we were all born into sin, and we all need a Savior, which Is Jesus Christ.

The minute we start to change this Gospel and preach another gospel, one that says no, not everyone was born into sin, some were born “this way or that way” we have begun to preach another gospel, which will lead to falling away. Preaching we are justified by our deeds will also lead to falling away (from Christ). Paul knew this. That’s why he considered his Pharisee status, his keeping of the law, his noble standing in the religious community of that day ALL TO BE RUBBISH So he could gain Christ.

PAUL was writing letters to the churches, not to the world. It is we who need to heed his words, and stop being so hell bent on correcting everyone who is not of God. If they are not of God and hate God, leave them alone! Let them Come to Christ if they want Him! If they come to you asking, help them! Pray for them, yes! We Christians need to grow, and become all we were ever meant to be IN HIM. -Laura Grace

Liberty and Justice for all?

HEART THOUGHTS.jpg

God’s heart ………We do not know What “Liberty and Justice for all” means without seeing it through God’s eyes. AS I was praying about an injustice the other Day God spoke to my heart, really, well, When you wave to one person and not the other, that is unjust. When you favor someone for any reason that is personal, that too is unjust.
I was like YIPE No more Judging Injustice Father! Yipe YIPE YIPE and …I am sorry…………..But see we really do not know.
We need to constantly pray to see things through God the Father’s eyes and not our own eyes. Many are victims of Discrimination all the time and it falls under a category not covered by “Protection laws” so laws are (Obviously) not the whole answer…….
In James where it says not to favor a rich man …….God wants us to see other areas where we discriminate. That’s how we get revelation, by not being afraid to let God show us MORE OF What he meant by what he said.
People need to be restore to God and to seeking God’s heart about things……..that should be our primary prayer direction I believe.

Righteous by Faith, my Sunday Morning Sermon

a guy fishingGOOD MORNING!

I want to share something with you, that has helped ME for many years now. One day I was reading the bible (years ago) and I ran across the passage that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.” By the Power of God’s spirit this passage changed my life! Why? Because, that day, I realized that no matter the outcome, no matter what happens, God is pleased when I am having Faith in Him about a situation. No more of this worrying, that I will look like a fool if I trusted Him, and a certain outcome did not happen fast enough, soon enough, or anything else.

“What if” you Trust God, with all of your Heart,” (the devil says) And you just look stupid, fall flat on your face, and do not get the outcome you were believing for?” One of satan’s favorite weapons, is to tell people they are going to look stupid if they “were wrong” If they were having faith about a situation. Who cares?

If I trust God, I will always have a good outcome. God told Sampson if he let anyone cut his hair, he would lose his strength. He Trusted God to help him gain back his strength, just so he could slay his enemies. This is old Testament, Pre-Jesus! Guess what? God gave him back his strength! Noah trusted God, (found Grace by believing for Grace) and got instructions how to save his whole household! Abraham Trusted God even when God said “I will destroy this city” by saying “Will you save the city, even for 10?” and he reasoned with God and I dare say, kind of argued with him! The book of James, Romans and this passage in Matthew mentions Abraham, which Jesus said we are the children of Abraham. (Made the Pharisees pretty mad, too!) Galatians 3:5-7New King James Version (NKJV) Books of Galatians:

Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?— just as Abraham “believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”[ Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham.

SO if you are believing, and the outcome isn’t (right now) what you thought it would be, Rejoice! Keep Trusting! Keep having Faith! DEFY What you see and Believe for God’s best anyway! I can tell you this, God counts it as righteousness.  Therefore, you have already been blessed, the very moment you start believing! Isn’t it grand? You are the winner! You did not give up! You are having Faith in God! (and, he is pleased!!).

Who cares what anyone else thinks? With love and blessings! Laura Grace

Being transformed, Hugely important!

Box WITH LIGHT

Yesterday the Lord dropped this into my Spirit………To be conformed to the pattern of this world is alot like a dress pattern, something everyone uses, to get the (Good) results they desire.

“Be Not” Conformed, to the pattern of this world, is what the bible says.

BE TRANSFORMED by the Renewing of the SPIRIT Of your mind. Pray for the Mind of Christ! WHY?

Because we are either being built up in Christ, or we are becoming conformed to the pattern of this world, which could lead to falling away ……

This came to me after I asked the Lord about “Taking the Mark” (of the beast) and he let me know that’s not a sudden decision.

In Order for something like that to happen, a person would have to be on the wrong road (of thinking) for a very long time. It’s not a one time “all of a sudden” event.

I got a tree! WHEEE …reminds me of me!

KODAK Digital Still Camera
Willow In the Breeze (Wall art)

WHEEEE I got a tree! And why is that so significant? (You might ask?) God says we are like trees (planted by the living water) when we are soaked IN HIM. In HIS Spirit in HIS Care! IN HIS perfect will, and timing. All we have to do to be this way is to receive it. How do I know? Because, a seed is planted, the tree grows. God’s words are incorruptible seeds, they grow within us.

Our flesh (our self) is like the soil, we have to prepare it to receive “the seed” of God’s word. We do this by choosing Good seed over bad (we have the choice, you see) it’s all in what you receive (and choose to believe) and as we receive Him (and His word) as the GIFT that it is, and allow Him IN we become like this Tree ….willows sway in the breeze, that’s why I chose this one. I want to be reminded (every day when I look at it) and see, this is why there are symbols, stained glass windows, Altars in the churches, all of it was reminders (of God’s word) that people wanted to remember, cherish, think about, and meditate on. THE PUROSE of it all to remain “IN CHRIST” and In his very words (Growing, being watered, and more seeds being sowed!) Isn’t it grand, being a tree? This tree reminds me of the beauty, of being a child of God. I love it! -Laura Grace

Every day life….and dogs……..

105_0073.JPG

This Dog……I have to share this Testimony with you. Tim was always a cat person, he didn’t like dogs when we first got together. Anyway this is COOPER ……

He didn’t want a dog, I talked him into Happy, then we got Cooper.

Happy went everywhere Tim, layed at his feet and licked his hand every day and they were just like best friends almost. When cooper first came to live with us Tim called him a monster and a land shark.

Now they are so close- and Cooper just last night grabbed his coat and pulled on him …he was so excited to ride in the truck with him and knew that’s what they were doing. He jumps up on him and literally Tries to TALK if Tim won’t scratch him.

“ROW OW OW“….he says……and tries to make his hand scratch him.

He’s a character! He tried so hard to kill this ball for us so it won’t bother us. LOL ……He eats bees and flies all the time it’s a serious mission to him to KILL THEM because they might be bothering us. Anyway It’s a dog story………..we love our dogs, they love us.

We still love Happy even though he’s gone….and think of him often.

Tim saw the benefits of dogs from being with one every day, learning of their unconditional love, funny ways and loyal friendship. Isn’t that how we all learn something? From constant exposure to something good?

Or if it’s bad, eventually we learn to get away from it! right? -Laura Grace, Author

We all want a Happy Ending…..don’t we?

Rainbow aI was thinking this morning, How we all Want a Happy Ending! If I am honest, my favorite movies are the ones which have one. How about you? People are drawn to the spectacular…..the Hero who wins the day,

The Villain that “gets his punishment” and the one whom all their dreams come true…….I was thinking how, we all have our own story, don’t we? It’s too easy to judge ourselves, just because we didn’t have the outcome we intended, or even believed for……

I think it’s fine to believe for miracles (and happy endings) but the truth is, we need to be prepared for both the happy ending, and the times it doesn’t all go like we wished…….

For me, that’s what Christianity truly is (in part) to learn to be content in all things, to learn to be happy and rejoice “despite the outcome” that is not going how we wished it would go. There are so many times in my life, I was weeping, disappointed and things did not go how I prayed (or how I planned) but later….I found that God did not forget!

SUDDENLY the thing I desired appeared! And had I given up completely….to the point where IF I had burned my bridges (so to speak) I never would have seen the Miracles I believed for!

HOPE LIVES even when things seem to be going oh so wrong……HOPE says MY GOD HAS NOT Forgotten my prayers……He loves me, HE cares……He wants what is best for me. Happy Resurrection day to you all, even though the real Passover is April 2016 this year! See? The day does not matter the technicality of it all “does not matter” because God is far more interested in what we believe about Him! That HE IS GOOD that HE LOVES US.

That’s why he sent Jesus………to show us all how much HE really does care! if we can’t get that simple truth….how can we get any more from Him? (and have our Happy Ending!)

The Triumph of Love, by Chip Brogden

The Triumph of Love

“He died FOR me!” says one who hears the story.

“He died AS me!” says one who knows the Man.

To embrace the Cross is

To take the greatest possible risk

To endure the greatest possible suffering

To overcome the greatest possible evil

To achieve the greatest possible good

To demonstrate the greatest possible love.

Love begets the desire to know intimately.

Intimate knowing begets trust.

Trust begets confidence.

Confidence begets boldness.

Boldness begets leaps of faith.

Leaps of faith beget victory.

Victory begets joy and peace.

Joy and peace beget gratitude.

Gratitude begets love.

Love begets the desire to know intimately…

We need to have Faith! Or at least I do…..

ROSE IN THE LIGHT!I went to the doctor yesterday……..

For my annual check up only, it’s been 2 years since I went. I have to tell you, I really do not like going to the doctor. Why? Well they often speak to me of what could happen and give warnings, which are not always warnings from God.

Why? Well, I’m sure the knowledge (at times) and information can be valuable, and trust me when I say, I do listen to them when I go there. So much of my life, the odds have been stacked against me, and it’s taken years of focus, hard training, meditation, scripture study and renewing my mind, to get to the point where I am not afraid to get out of bed in the morning and FACE LIFE. I do not need help being scared! (amen?) I can do that just fine, all by myself!

The truth is, Trauma, bad things (car wrecks, all that stuff) which have happened to us, sort of robs us of our innocence and has the potential to disable us spiritually.

If we become spiritually disabled, unable to believe for things we cannot see, cannot comprehend in the natural (how it can happen) there is no hope we will be able to run the race of faith very well. So the choice is ours, (really) whether we let the bad things that have happened disable us, to the point where we find ourselves becoming cynical, non-optimistic, and a person who declares FAITH to us our enemy, instead of our friend.

Here’s an example for you. Let’s say you are cooking, someone comes along and starts talking to you and says; “You know, 1000 people a year burn their hands while frying eggs.” Now I’m so nervous, I just might burn my hands frying eggs!

When I am frying eggs I need you to cheer me on, have Faith for me that I will do it just right. I don’t see how standing there telling me what could happen is going to help me fry eggs better.  But now, if I did burn my hands, and I was praying for wisdom, and God uses someone to show me “how to avoid that in the future’ that is a really good thing!

There is such a fine line between Knowledge that puffs (us) Up and the type of Knowledge God is talking about when he says “Add to your Faith, Knowledge, to Knowledge…….” It’s a passage about how God wants to build things into our lives (Faith, Knowledge, Self control, perseverance, and so on)

He is talking about knowledge HE wants to give us here, not knowledge the world wants us to have. Earthly wisdom is sensual, demonic. My bible says so! TRUTH Is TRUTH but we need to constantly allow the HOLY SPIRIT TO be the filter of what is truth and what is fiction or half-truths. So Yes Father, I do want the truth, but only your truth, not the world’s version of the truth! and I simply refuse to be La-TI-DA about it all!

“I want your wisdom! Father I want your input into my life! And thank you that your Word says You give wisdom to all, without finding fault! (book of James) so right now I ask you cause me to hear from YOU Lord, grant me discernment! Let the meditations of my heart and mind be pleasing to you Father God! In Jesus’ name we pray and, do not allow us to believe the lies of the enemy (even for a minute) In Jesus’ precious name!  Amen” -Laura Grace

Are you a Pioneer? Or settler?

DIRT ROAD IN DENTONroad picture

Settlers Settle. Pioneers venture out. Which are you? you can be both, you know.

The bible talks about pressing on, going forward, striving toward what is ahead, but it also talks about God strengthening, settling, and establishing us. I believe walking with God involves both; times of settling times of pioneering, and going forth into new territory with Him. There is a commercial on TV that says “settlers settle” and of course its’ about someone settling for less than what they “could have.”

I don’t want to do this. I believe we are born to win, born to master, born to overcome.

This old dirt road, a long time ago was just grass, then a rutted and hard-to-travel road. Someone paved the way by adding gravel, had a vision to make it easier (for cars to go upon) and later on, some even had a vision to pave it. That’s what I do when I write books, the hard won revelations I have received (and vision) of Growing, developing in Christ and soaring with him, I have established a road. I have not done it all by myself, God has anointed and appointed me to write on certain topics, others have done so as well.

We all have this vision of travelling the road (together) and hoping to make it less bumpy, less difficult, and easier for all of us (each other) to find our way HOME which is living in the Kingdom of God while we live upon this earth. We are strangers to this world, we are one with one another in God’s kingdom. Don’t settle for less than knowing Jesus fully, he wants you to have it all! He wants to eat with you, travel with you, laugh with you, cry with you and be your very bestest friend. #I love you Jesus! Thank you Holy Spirit for making the road easier to find, for all of us. In Jesus’ name we pray. amen
