Hidden in the Rock…..the secret place of the Most High

SECRET

The other day, I just had to pray it (once again) that I would literally be able to dwell (live) in the Secret Place of the most high. I sang it into the atmosphere, and today I was told a testimony of someone who is doing just that, abiding in the vine, dwelling in the Secret place (Psalm 91) for, it’s all the same thing, you see.

Some reading this, will have heard of Corrie Ten Boom, famous for her testimony while living in the Nazi Camps during the great “Horror” that took place, and where millions died at the hands of those who hated them.

She escaped, God caused her to dwell in this place of peace, abiding in the vine (and in Him) During a very turbulent and flat out scary situation. Those principles may be applied, by whomever, whenever they choose, if only we begin to reach out to God For that very blessing.

For you see, when Jesus talked about peacemakers, when he talked about forgiveness, and most of all, when he talked about taking HIS YOKE upon us, he was talking about this very thing.

The thing is, in order to experience this supernatural peace, and literally abiding in The Secret Place of the most high, where, in the Spirit realm, if you could see this, you would see a shield around you (of protection, to shelter your mind and heart) First, we have to decide to get there, decide to live there……..

and you know what? That usually doesn’t happen until we are convinced (in our own minds) That it’s what NEEDS to happen, and it really is GOD”S BEST For our lives.

Often it doesn’t happen until we’ve tried our own ways, driven ourselves half nuts, and while I wish that were not so, we need to remember God is not shocked that sometimes, (Sometimes) we really do have to learn the hard way. He loves us anyway.

He just loves us, and when we finally get it, He is so Happy we arrived!

With Love prayers and blessings to you all this day..

THE FENCE

We are entitled
WE’RE ENTITLED

The Fence (Guest Post by Tim)

When my wife and I moved into our new to us home, we decided to grow a garden. From the beginning we wanted it to be the grandest garden the world had ever known. To this end, we had a soil analysis done by the finest Agricultural lab in the state. We studied fertilizers and seed variants, growth timings and compatibilities, sun and shade requirements, and all the various methods of delivering water to our man made Garden of Eden. After investing hundreds of hours as well as hundreds of dollars into this project, it was finally coming together.

The plants were growing, corn, carrots, radish, peas, beans, if it could be used in a salad or casserole it was there. There were strategically placed sun shades to shield and protect the more delicate types and hundreds of feet of water line of various types to deliver moisture at the precise rates needed for all the different crops.

Then on a fine Sunday morning I went to gaze upon our labor that was to deliver a large bounty in the fall to our family, only to discover several of the plants were cut down. There was a green pepper half chewed up, some tomatoes had been gnawed on, and corn had been cut down and the ears mauled. It wasn’t hard to deduce the culprit as there were rabbit tracks in the soft soil and the tell tail pellet droppings from there previous meals.

I simply could not allow this to go on or soon there would be little left, the decision was made to put up a rabbit proof fence.
I reasoned that rabbits were pretty short really so a fence two feet high should do the trick, at two feet we would still have easy access to our crops.

The day after our rabbit barrier was in place I inspected the garden, again I found destruction. This time along with the crop damage there were water lines cut and one of the supports for a sun shade had been gnawed through dropping the whole thing on the tomato plants. I really wasn’t sure what to do. While having breakfast at the local café, I told my troubles to several folks that lived around town. I explained about the garden and the first attempt at a fence.

I was told by several that I shouldn’t have bothered putting the first fence up as the rabbits will find a way in no matter what I do and what was the problem anyway, the garden is so large that they can’t be eating that much after all.

I installed video cameras to study the rabbits, and found that most had jumped the short fence; some however had tunneled under it. While most of them had simply eaten of our labor, two of them seemed to ignore the produce and went right to gnawing waterlines and shade supports.

Being nearly out of money I again spoke with the folks around town. I explained what I had learned from the video surveillance and outlined my plan for a fence six feet high and also two feet deep, this I knew would keep the rabbits out, maybe one or two really clever ones would find a way in but the problem would for all intents and purposes be solved. I offered to share generously from the garden if they could help with some money for the new fence.

I sure heard about it then, they knew the new fence I proposed would be just as effective as I thought it would be. How can you do that to those poor little bunnies some said, they are having a hard time finding food and you have plenty with that big garden of yours. “What’s your problem, don’t you like rabbits?” I like rabbits just fine I said. What you don’t seem to understand is they are costing me a lot of money, you don’t have a garden that they are destroying. They may not realize that they are destructive but they are, they do not replant or fix waterline and sun shade supports. We like the rabbits they said, they are so cute hopping around and cleaning their whiskers, and lots of kids have pet rabbits so you shouldn’t be mean to the rabbits.

Those pet rabbits came from a pet store they are documented and pedigreed and whatever else and they aren’t allowed into my garden to do whatever they like. Well, you’re just a mean awful man and we know that you hate rabbits.

Now I’m branded a rabbit hater. A lot of folks won’t talk to me because I want to protect my garden that they will eat from too. The fence goes un-built; when the produce isn’t there for them do you think they’ll blame me for not growing enough?

Do you want to talk about Ferrets? Some Ferrets got loose and killed some pet wiener dogs around town. I proposed an ordinance at town hall to ban bringing Ferrets into town until they could be certified as tame. Now I’m a Ferret hater too.

The Fire

green guitar

Testimony time! (the fire) “The fire had started because of a wall heater, near the bed where we had just slept the night before. It was cold, so the wall heater (the only source of heat) had been running through the night, and into the morning hours. The bed was singed and burnt, and the window of that room had shattered, had blown out from the force of the heat, and a guitar recently given to us was lying on top of the bed, smoke damaged but otherwise unscathed.

I marveled about the guitar, as it was likely my most precious possession at the time. It had turned from blue to green in color, but the neck was not damaged, it still played, and it was not burned.

This was to be the first Testimony I would ever declare in the church, amongst God’s people. I remember we were given a gift certificate, and the Red Cross helped us to secure a new place to live. At this time, there were few rentals available, so even the fact that we found another place to live, seemed to be a miracle at the time.

I shuddered to think what would have happened, had we all been sleeping, and the fire would have started, just a few hours earlier. While the fire was devastating, I was filled with hope that the very same God who had saved our lives, had plans for us, plans to prosper and not harm us, and plans to give us a hope and a future.

The guitar, an electric ovation, was used many a time by myself to sing praises to the Lord, and I do believe the fact that it was nearly the only item in the house that was undamaged, caused my heart so soar, and I dedicated my heart to sing only songs to Jesus with it, from that time on. Every time I picked up the guitar to play and sing, I remembered the miracle, and that we were only alive and well because of Jesus. -From the upcoming book, Grace to Soar, by Laura Grace #Godsaves #Godprotects #Godisgood

LOVE

Believing for Miracles……..

I believe we should always believe for miracles! I can see no reason not to ……..We are in an earth bound realm with born again Spirits of God. He created the earth just by speaking it into existence, so earth, as well as us, is all a miracle of God.

God intended for us (Our ancestors) Adam and Eve to have no sickness, beautiful surroundings, fruit to eat, good air to breath, and they could walk and talk with the animals, expecting no harm to come to them.

So yes we do live in a fallen realm, but expecting to have abundant life, and a miracle to live it if necessary (Or a few) Is not too much to expect or ask. God takes no delight in our suffering HE IS Love……..not does Love IS LOVE. He rejoices when we receive his words and his truths. And He rejoices when we begin to know and to continue to know, just how very good he is.

Unconditional Love……and believing in the goodness of God

LOVE HURTSDear Heavenly Father in Jesus’ name I pray, that I will be able to effectively get across this message, to those who need to hear it, and I am trusting you to open their hearts to what you are saying, through me, this day in Jesus’ name. amen

The reason, (and I do mean the only reason) I can love unconditionally, is because I have received that my heavenly Father loves ME unconditionally.

What we have been given, we are asked to freely give in return. We cannot give what we do not have, or have not received. Does this help us understand why Jesus was so forgiving, so giving? I hope so! see, he was a teacher, but not just a teacher. He also sowed into good soil, the very harvest he was expecting to see return.

Did you ever think of yourself as “the good soil” God wants to sow in?

So often, people give their hearts to Jesus, sit down in church or some other setting, and begin to learn what they should be doing, and what they should not be doing.

What if God’s intention, when Jesus said “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me” was that we learn by example? What if, he really does not expect us to give what we have not yet received? That would change everything, wouldn’t it?

All I know is, way back when I first got saved, and I read the passage “We love” because he first loved us” a light went on in my Spirit that day, and I began to understand I cannot give what I have not yet received.

Jesus died for me a long time ago, and took my shame and sin to the cross with him, before I had even yet committed those sins against him. After received his gift of Salvation, he waits patiently for me to receive the entirety of what he has done for me. He knows it will take years, possibly a life time, to truly unwrap all the gifts he has given me, and to fully comprehend his love which surpasses my knowledge (of my own sins, failures and short comings). This is why our bible is good news, not bad news.

As I allow him to love me, my capacity to love increases. As I allow him to give (to me) my cheerfulness to give also increases. What if we stopped trying to prove to God we are worthy of This great Salvation, and simply allow him to pour himself (and his ways) into us? Could it be, we would become true ministers of His Grace?

I think so! With love and Prayers and blessings to you all,

Controversial Stuff…….

IF someone wants to sin, it’s really none of our business! Did you know that, Christian? I want you to notice, even in the case of the woman caught in Adultery, Jesus did not join the rally of rabid rabble rousers who wanted to punish her for sinning.

He came to bring a totally different message than what the Pharisees were preaching. Paul was a Pharisee who BECAME a Christian, and another son of God after Jesus, the first born of many sons. If someone came into the church and said “Let’s have a Kegger and a Margurita party” Instead of a potluck, everyone would know this is wrong. I would dare say, even many who claim to be “born” of a different sexual orientation would, deep down know this is wrong. The gospel says we were all born into sin, and we all need a Savior, which Is Jesus Christ.

The minute we start to change this Gospel and preach another gospel, one that says no, not everyone was born into sin, some were born “this way or that way” we have begun to preach another gospel, which will lead to falling away. Preaching we are justified by our deeds will also lead to falling away (from Christ). Paul knew this. That’s why he considered his Pharisee status, his keeping of the law, his noble standing in the religious community of that day ALL TO BE RUBBISH So he could gain Christ.

PAUL was writing letters to the churches, not to the world. It is we who need to heed his words, and stop being so hell bent on correcting everyone who is not of God. If they are not of God and hate God, leave them alone! Let them Come to Christ if they want Him! If they come to you asking, help them! Pray for them, yes! We Christians need to grow, and become all we were ever meant to be IN HIM. -Laura Grace

Liberty and Justice for all?

HEART THOUGHTS.jpg

God’s heart ………We do not know What “Liberty and Justice for all” means without seeing it through God’s eyes. AS I was praying about an injustice the other Day God spoke to my heart, really, well, When you wave to one person and not the other, that is unjust. When you favor someone for any reason that is personal, that too is unjust.
I was like YIPE No more Judging Injustice Father! Yipe YIPE YIPE and …I am sorry…………..But see we really do not know.
We need to constantly pray to see things through God the Father’s eyes and not our own eyes. Many are victims of Discrimination all the time and it falls under a category not covered by “Protection laws” so laws are (Obviously) not the whole answer…….
In James where it says not to favor a rich man …….God wants us to see other areas where we discriminate. That’s how we get revelation, by not being afraid to let God show us MORE OF What he meant by what he said.
People need to be restore to God and to seeking God’s heart about things……..that should be our primary prayer direction I believe.

Righteous by Faith, my Sunday Morning Sermon

a guy fishingGOOD MORNING!

I want to share something with you, that has helped ME for many years now. One day I was reading the bible (years ago) and I ran across the passage that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.” By the Power of God’s spirit this passage changed my life! Why? Because, that day, I realized that no matter the outcome, no matter what happens, God is pleased when I am having Faith in Him about a situation. No more of this worrying, that I will look like a fool if I trusted Him, and a certain outcome did not happen fast enough, soon enough, or anything else.

“What if” you Trust God, with all of your Heart,” (the devil says) And you just look stupid, fall flat on your face, and do not get the outcome you were believing for?” One of satan’s favorite weapons, is to tell people they are going to look stupid if they “were wrong” If they were having faith about a situation. Who cares?

If I trust God, I will always have a good outcome. God told Sampson if he let anyone cut his hair, he would lose his strength. He Trusted God to help him gain back his strength, just so he could slay his enemies. This is old Testament, Pre-Jesus! Guess what? God gave him back his strength! Noah trusted God, (found Grace by believing for Grace) and got instructions how to save his whole household! Abraham Trusted God even when God said “I will destroy this city” by saying “Will you save the city, even for 10?” and he reasoned with God and I dare say, kind of argued with him! The book of James, Romans and this passage in Matthew mentions Abraham, which Jesus said we are the children of Abraham. (Made the Pharisees pretty mad, too!) Galatians 3:5-7New King James Version (NKJV) Books of Galatians:

Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?— just as Abraham “believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”[ Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham.

SO if you are believing, and the outcome isn’t (right now) what you thought it would be, Rejoice! Keep Trusting! Keep having Faith! DEFY What you see and Believe for God’s best anyway! I can tell you this, God counts it as righteousness.  Therefore, you have already been blessed, the very moment you start believing! Isn’t it grand? You are the winner! You did not give up! You are having Faith in God! (and, he is pleased!!).

Who cares what anyone else thinks? With love and blessings! Laura Grace

Being transformed, Hugely important!

Box WITH LIGHT

Yesterday the Lord dropped this into my Spirit………To be conformed to the pattern of this world is alot like a dress pattern, something everyone uses, to get the (Good) results they desire.

“Be Not” Conformed, to the pattern of this world, is what the bible says.

BE TRANSFORMED by the Renewing of the SPIRIT Of your mind. Pray for the Mind of Christ! WHY?

Because we are either being built up in Christ, or we are becoming conformed to the pattern of this world, which could lead to falling away ……

This came to me after I asked the Lord about “Taking the Mark” (of the beast) and he let me know that’s not a sudden decision.

In Order for something like that to happen, a person would have to be on the wrong road (of thinking) for a very long time. It’s not a one time “all of a sudden” event.

I got a tree! WHEEE …reminds me of me!

KODAK Digital Still Camera
Willow In the Breeze (Wall art)

WHEEEE I got a tree! And why is that so significant? (You might ask?) God says we are like trees (planted by the living water) when we are soaked IN HIM. In HIS Spirit in HIS Care! IN HIS perfect will, and timing. All we have to do to be this way is to receive it. How do I know? Because, a seed is planted, the tree grows. God’s words are incorruptible seeds, they grow within us.

Our flesh (our self) is like the soil, we have to prepare it to receive “the seed” of God’s word. We do this by choosing Good seed over bad (we have the choice, you see) it’s all in what you receive (and choose to believe) and as we receive Him (and His word) as the GIFT that it is, and allow Him IN we become like this Tree ….willows sway in the breeze, that’s why I chose this one. I want to be reminded (every day when I look at it) and see, this is why there are symbols, stained glass windows, Altars in the churches, all of it was reminders (of God’s word) that people wanted to remember, cherish, think about, and meditate on. THE PUROSE of it all to remain “IN CHRIST” and In his very words (Growing, being watered, and more seeds being sowed!) Isn’t it grand, being a tree? This tree reminds me of the beauty, of being a child of God. I love it! -Laura Grace
