LOVE
Unconditional Love……and believing in the goodness of God
Dear Heavenly Father in Jesus’ name I pray, that I will be able to effectively get across this message, to those who need to hear it, and I am trusting you to open their hearts to what you are saying, through me, this day in Jesus’ name. amen
The reason, (and I do mean the only reason) I can love unconditionally, is because I have received that my heavenly Father loves ME unconditionally.
What we have been given, we are asked to freely give in return. We cannot give what we do not have, or have not received. Does this help us understand why Jesus was so forgiving, so giving? I hope so! see, he was a teacher, but not just a teacher. He also sowed into good soil, the very harvest he was expecting to see return.
Did you ever think of yourself as “the good soil” God wants to sow in?
So often, people give their hearts to Jesus, sit down in church or some other setting, and begin to learn what they should be doing, and what they should not be doing.
What if God’s intention, when Jesus said “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me” was that we learn by example? What if, he really does not expect us to give what we have not yet received? That would change everything, wouldn’t it?
All I know is, way back when I first got saved, and I read the passage “We love” because he first loved us” a light went on in my Spirit that day, and I began to understand I cannot give what I have not yet received.
Jesus died for me a long time ago, and took my shame and sin to the cross with him, before I had even yet committed those sins against him. After received his gift of Salvation, he waits patiently for me to receive the entirety of what he has done for me. He knows it will take years, possibly a life time, to truly unwrap all the gifts he has given me, and to fully comprehend his love which surpasses my knowledge (of my own sins, failures and short comings). This is why our bible is good news, not bad news.
As I allow him to love me, my capacity to love increases. As I allow him to give (to me) my cheerfulness to give also increases. What if we stopped trying to prove to God we are worthy of This great Salvation, and simply allow him to pour himself (and his ways) into us? Could it be, we would become true ministers of His Grace?
I think so! With love and Prayers and blessings to you all,
Laura Grace
Controversial Stuff…….
IF someone wants to sin, it’s really none of our business! Did you know that, Christian? I want you to notice, even in the case of the woman caught in Adultery, Jesus did not join the rally of rabid rabble rousers who wanted to punish her for sinning.
He came to bring a totally different message than what the Pharisees were preaching. Paul was a Pharisee who BECAME a Christian, and another son of God after Jesus, the first born of many sons. If someone came into the church and said “Let’s have a Kegger and a Margurita party” Instead of a potluck, everyone would know this is wrong. I would dare say, even many who claim to be “born” of a different sexual orientation would, deep down know this is wrong. The gospel says we were all born into sin, and we all need a Savior, which Is Jesus Christ.
The minute we start to change this Gospel and preach another gospel, one that says no, not everyone was born into sin, some were born “this way or that way” we have begun to preach another gospel, which will lead to falling away. Preaching we are justified by our deeds will also lead to falling away (from Christ). Paul knew this. That’s why he considered his Pharisee status, his keeping of the law, his noble standing in the religious community of that day ALL TO BE RUBBISH So he could gain Christ.
PAUL was writing letters to the churches, not to the world. It is we who need to heed his words, and stop being so hell bent on correcting everyone who is not of God. If they are not of God and hate God, leave them alone! Let them Come to Christ if they want Him! If they come to you asking, help them! Pray for them, yes! We Christians need to grow, and become all we were ever meant to be IN HIM. -Laura Grace
Liberty and Justice for all?

Righteous by Faith, my Sunday Morning Sermon
GOOD MORNING!
I want to share something with you, that has helped ME for many years now. One day I was reading the bible (years ago) and I ran across the passage that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.” By the Power of God’s spirit this passage changed my life! Why? Because, that day, I realized that no matter the outcome, no matter what happens, God is pleased when I am having Faith in Him about a situation. No more of this worrying, that I will look like a fool if I trusted Him, and a certain outcome did not happen fast enough, soon enough, or anything else.
“What if” you Trust God, with all of your Heart,” (the devil says) And you just look stupid, fall flat on your face, and do not get the outcome you were believing for?” One of satan’s favorite weapons, is to tell people they are going to look stupid if they “were wrong” If they were having faith about a situation. Who cares?
If I trust God, I will always have a good outcome. God told Sampson if he let anyone cut his hair, he would lose his strength. He Trusted God to help him gain back his strength, just so he could slay his enemies. This is old Testament, Pre-Jesus! Guess what? God gave him back his strength! Noah trusted God, (found Grace by believing for Grace) and got instructions how to save his whole household! Abraham Trusted God even when God said “I will destroy this city” by saying “Will you save the city, even for 10?” and he reasoned with God and I dare say, kind of argued with him! The book of James, Romans and this passage in Matthew mentions Abraham, which Jesus said we are the children of Abraham. (Made the Pharisees pretty mad, too!) Galatians 3:5-7New King James Version (NKJV) Books of Galatians:
5 Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?— 6 just as Abraham “believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”[ 7 Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham.
SO if you are believing, and the outcome isn’t (right now) what you thought it would be, Rejoice! Keep Trusting! Keep having Faith! DEFY What you see and Believe for God’s best anyway! I can tell you this, God counts it as righteousness. Therefore, you have already been blessed, the very moment you start believing! Isn’t it grand? You are the winner! You did not give up! You are having Faith in God! (and, he is pleased!!).
Who cares what anyone else thinks? With love and blessings! Laura Grace
Being transformed, Hugely important!

Yesterday the Lord dropped this into my Spirit………To be conformed to the pattern of this world is alot like a dress pattern, something everyone uses, to get the (Good) results they desire.
“Be Not” Conformed, to the pattern of this world, is what the bible says.
BE TRANSFORMED by the Renewing of the SPIRIT Of your mind. Pray for the Mind of Christ! WHY?
Because we are either being built up in Christ, or we are becoming conformed to the pattern of this world, which could lead to falling away ……
This came to me after I asked the Lord about “Taking the Mark” (of the beast) and he let me know that’s not a sudden decision.
In Order for something like that to happen, a person would have to be on the wrong road (of thinking) for a very long time. It’s not a one time “all of a sudden” event.
I got a tree! WHEEE …reminds me of me!

WHEEEE I got a tree! And why is that so significant? (You might ask?) God says we are like trees (planted by the living water) when we are soaked IN HIM. In HIS Spirit in HIS Care! IN HIS perfect will, and timing. All we have to do to be this way is to receive it. How do I know? Because, a seed is planted, the tree grows. God’s words are incorruptible seeds, they grow within us.
Our flesh (our self) is like the soil, we have to prepare it to receive “the seed” of God’s word. We do this by choosing Good seed over bad (we have the choice, you see) it’s all in what you receive (and choose to believe) and as we receive Him (and His word) as the GIFT that it is, and allow Him IN we become like this Tree ….willows sway in the breeze, that’s why I chose this one. I want to be reminded (every day when I look at it) and see, this is why there are symbols, stained glass windows, Altars in the churches, all of it was reminders (of God’s word) that people wanted to remember, cherish, think about, and meditate on. THE PUROSE of it all to remain “IN CHRIST” and In his very words (Growing, being watered, and more seeds being sowed!) Isn’t it grand, being a tree? This tree reminds me of the beauty, of being a child of God. I love it! -Laura Grace

Every day life….and dogs……..

This Dog……I have to share this Testimony with you. Tim was always a cat person, he didn’t like dogs when we first got together. Anyway this is COOPER ……
He didn’t want a dog, I talked him into Happy, then we got Cooper.
Happy went everywhere Tim, layed at his feet and licked his hand every day and they were just like best friends almost. When cooper first came to live with us Tim called him a monster and a land shark.
Now they are so close- and Cooper just last night grabbed his coat and pulled …on him …he was so excited to ride in the truck with him and knew that’s what they were doing. He jumps up on him and literally Tries to TALK if Tim won’t scratch him.
“ROW OW OW“….he says……and tries to make his hand scratch him.
He’s a character! He tried so hard to kill this ball for us so it won’t bother us. LOL ……He eats bees and flies all the time it’s a serious mission to him to KILL THEM because they might be bothering us. Anyway It’s a dog story………..we love our dogs, they love us.
We still love Happy even though he’s gone….and think of him often.
Tim saw the benefits of dogs from being with one every day, learning of their unconditional love, funny ways and loyal friendship. Isn’t that how we all learn something? From constant exposure to something good?
Or if it’s bad, eventually we learn to get away from it! right? -Laura Grace, Author
We all want a Happy Ending…..don’t we?
I was thinking this morning, How we all Want a Happy Ending! If I am honest, my favorite movies are the ones which have one. How about you? People are drawn to the spectacular…..the Hero who wins the day,
The Villain that “gets his punishment” and the one whom all their dreams come true…….I was thinking how, we all have our own story, don’t we? It’s too easy to judge ourselves, just because we didn’t have the outcome we intended, or even believed for……
I think it’s fine to believe for miracles (and happy endings) but the truth is, we need to be prepared for both the happy ending, and the times it doesn’t all go like we wished…….
For me, that’s what Christianity truly is (in part) to learn to be content in all things, to learn to be happy and rejoice “despite the outcome” that is not going how we wished it would go. There are so many times in my life, I was weeping, disappointed and things did not go how I prayed (or how I planned) but later….I found that God did not forget!
SUDDENLY the thing I desired appeared! And had I given up completely….to the point where IF I had burned my bridges (so to speak) I never would have seen the Miracles I believed for!
HOPE LIVES even when things seem to be going oh so wrong……HOPE says MY GOD HAS NOT Forgotten my prayers……He loves me, HE cares……He wants what is best for me. Happy Resurrection day to you all, even though the real Passover is April 2016 this year! See? The day does not matter the technicality of it all “does not matter” because God is far more interested in what we believe about Him! That HE IS GOOD that HE LOVES US.
That’s why he sent Jesus………to show us all how much HE really does care! if we can’t get that simple truth….how can we get any more from Him? (and have our Happy Ending!)
With Love and blessings, Laura Grace
