God’s Wisdom …..and the fire

FIRELike the three little pigs, we are free to choose how we build. God will not force us to do anything one way or the other. When Jesus spoke in Revelation about gold (saying they were pitiful, poor, blind and naked), He was talking about the revelation we receive for ourselves about Him. We can’t stand on another person’s testimony, we can only stand on our own testimony and revelation of Jesus Christ. The rewards of God are more than just what we receive at the end of our lives.

Some rewards are also because of our prayers of Faith, and our willingness to consider God’s wisdom more precious than our own wisdom. Religiousness and doctrines we follow, which, when we have no real idea why we follow them, nor having any real idea what they mean to us personally, (and why) are like wood, hay and stubble.

The wisdom of God must be sought with great eagerness, and every time we receive from Him a nugget of his Wisdom, apply it to our lives and go on to seek more (from HIM) we are building with precious stones. Be Encouraged, his wisdom will prevail in the fire. Be encouraged God wants you to have His wisdom! Proverbs 2. Put His Wisdom first.

1 Corn 3:12 “Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw,  each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. 14 If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.”

Giving and Receiving ……take heed

NEW LIFE grace to grow.jpgEverything starts with a seed. The seed of God’s word planted in you. Seeds produce more after their own kind. Its been this way since after the Lord first spoke “be fruitful and multiply” to everything in existence HE had created! So we give, we also have to be good soil to receive, and as we receive (in our hearts) what God wants to say to us, He sends someone to water and helps His words grow. Here’s the catch however, you are still master of your own destiny, unless you daily give your life over to the Lord. Every day, same decision, over and over again.

CAN YOU SEE, that the saying “let not your heart be troubled” (Which Jesus said) also applies to “Seeds that” the plant springs up, it’s wilted by the cares of this world? That means we really do have to pay attention to what we are letting into our hearts, friends.

“if you are always worried about money, and making money” you will be indifferent (hate) my words, the Lord spoke to my heart, recently. Likewise, if you are concerned about building (my church) Then start building my Kingdom! What is my Kingdom?

BEING IN ME, IN MY WORD, IN MY PRESENCE and IN with the program I have designed for you by my Spirit! I’m the teacher, (not you) not your mother, not your brother, not your best friend. I am still the head of my Body (Says JESUS) So, what I give you freely give, but first you have to receive it from Me!” Otherwise what you are giving is not of me! And if what you are giving is not of me, it’s not the gold, silver, and precious stones I told you to build with, and it will not stand the fire.

“Take heed how you build” but I will not control you, you choose, says the Lord.

and this is straight out of the bible. -Laura grace

if we seek First the Kingdom……………

Hello! God was speaking to me this morning about Seeking First his Kingdom (and His righteousness) which is to say “our personal” right standing with Him. That is not to be decided (nor judged) by others, by the way. I’m a mom, I used to decide and make the judgment call as to whether or not my kids were “in trouble with me” (or not).

I can remember my daughter tattling on her brother, and most times what she considered to be a big deal, was not a very big deal at the time. For one thing, He was younger and wasn’t “her age” but also, she didn’t seem to realize My heart toward him either. I knew when he was sorry, or the difference between rebellion and an honest mistake.

Seeking God’s Kingdom is not all that lofty. It’s within you! However, staying focused on what God wants to say today with all the “voices in the wind” out there can be pretty challenging at times. Remember there is a promised attached “ALL THINGS” You need will be added to you- when you seek God’s kingdom first! in other words, that’s your priority! How often do we as parents tell children, are you doing what I said? And we are making plans to bless them right? And our plans are way better than what they think they need too! And that’s us Humans! just think what God can do! and plans to do!! WOW ….amen  GOD MAKES THINGS bETTER!111.jpg

How to be an effective leader (in the light)

FAith is light.jpgme in the light.jpg

Be a Pioneer! Don’t settle! by Laura Grace
Pioneers had a vision to go out west, but they did not always see the trouble that would await them. wagon masters who had gone before them, who now saw what could happen, were often asked to lead the way as more and more ventured west……..
Their leading was based on experience, as they had already been to certain places, and had learned how to avoid certain traps, pitfalls, and even death. In other words “they had seen” (out west). I’m sure the responsibility was still quite overwhelming.
Light is something everyone gets from the SUN but not everyone receives from the SON.

The More light and illuminiation you have received from the Spirit of God, the further you can see and the more you can see.
I know we sing I was blind and now I see, but whe we got saved, we only saw a small part. We need to pray to see MORE and then our fellowship will become more unified as this happens.
Peter did not want to see he would deny Jesus but, he did, and when that prophecy was fullfilled he actually saw.
Paul thought he could see before he was interupted on the road to Damascus, THEN after his eyes were anointed he saw. Seeing is believing! Father, help us see! 1 John 1:7
But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. This letter was from John, to the Body of Christ. to be a light, we first have to see the light. amen.
You can only share what you have seen, and what you actually know, in order to be an effective leader. -Laura Grace, author, Grace to the Rescue, Grace to Grow, Let there be light. Available on amazon

Wake up Church!

wake up 2.jpgWake-Up

Some are awake, some are still sleeping. And some are sleep walking!

In Ephesians 5 it says “Awake, oh sleeper, and Christ will shine on you!”

Everyone says they want to be a light (Usually) but do we really want to be

awake? Some want to just go through the motions, routines are comfortable

like sleeping is comfortable. Some might even call it a comfortable rut…….

I had an experience this morning that reminded me of being awake and yet

being among sleep walkers all at the same time.

Sometimes we are so focused on “what did I do wrong?” We hardly see what

we did not do that was right! Like, Waking up! Shaking causes WAKING!

So while we don’t like to be “shaken awake” sometimes it needs to happen!

amen? -Laura Grace

Day 5 Dessert! Walking in God’s timing………

I want to share that I went to a soup supper at the church Wed night, when we walked in they were all concerned as they had no dessert.

I had made a blueberry dessert for a book club meeting the night before, which got cancelled! so I had it and brought it and walked in just in time to fill a need on the table. Dessert! Everyone enjoyed it, and said it was wonderful.

My timing was almost perfect, one woman had just sent her husband home for some Oreo cookies because she said “we need dessert” and there is none here!

I suppose we really don’t NEED dessert but it made the supper seem complete, amen?

This speaks to me about ministry. I pray Father that when we speak it will be just like that dessert. Right on TIME just what they needed to hear and just what they were hungry for amen! amen amen Praise you Lord! I was talking to a group of ladies yesterday, sharing that even if someone does not like (your ministry) or what food you are serving up it doesn’t mean it’s not good! It may be just wonderful! Keep on cooking!!

We wait for those perfect times when someone says AH …..that’s what I was hungry for Thank you! What a blessing! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord with meat, with cheese, with soup………and ……….even dessert! Day 4 Fear of Man & being healed of rejection ….

Fear of man is a snare. I refuse to live in that place anymore.

This morning the Lord spoke to my heart and I am going to share some of it, because He did also say “what you have heard in secret” shout it from the housetops!

So, here goes. Whenever we do not feel needed in the Body of Christ, or what we say does not seem to be well-received, there is going to be a sense of being or feeling rejected.

Have you ever heard little kids say, “You’re not my mom, you can’t tell me what to do?”

Some react this way whenever we share what the Lord has put on our heart. It doesn’t mean (necessarily) we did not hear from him either.

Now, I am speaking to people who know the Lord is our Shepherd, we should expect to hear his voice, and we are taught by the Holy Spirit just as He said would be.

I am a Pioneer (of sorts) and I do know this. The truth is, (biblically) we are called to Go and make disciples of all men, not to make them into church sitters. I see nothing wrong with going to church, I do go there myself (quite often, I might add) however, that is not what we are called and commissioned to do.

We need to know we can stand with or without church, people, and we really do. When I say church, I mean a building where everyone gathers at 10 or 11 am. Good parents equip their children to live out on their own, to be able to function with or without them. Amen?

Now, I have written books to help with this process of either becoming a disciple, or teaching others how to be one. They were written to help equip the Body of Christ.

God is restoring my confidence once again, that yes, regardless of what anyone thinks, believes, (or does not believe) I am doing my part to help in the great commission which is

GO YE………Make disciples of all men, and if you have ever been or felt rejected by men, ask God to heal you, because honest, He really will do that. Stand up and be counted! Regardless of what men may say………..amen -Laura Grace

Day 2. “Lo, I am with Thee………” even when it seems nobody is listening

day 2 This is what God said to me this morning. Matthew 22:5-6 was the highlighted verse but I read what was around it. In this passage those who were sent were ignored/killed.
I anointed my ears before I started this morning and asked God to speak. Here is what He said: “The outcome is not always what you think it will be. They were sent, yet nobody wanted to listen to them. I know it’s not a nice story, and I know you don’t wish to hear it, but the truth is not everyone is going to listen to you, and even if they did, that alone could never be proof that I sent you.
The parable is also proof of how I operate sometimes. Signs and wonders in this case, followed the death of my servants who were not heeded or listened to. (So I burned the city). People will often go to extremes to avoid hearing the truth. in this case, the servants were sent to gather those invited to a feast, but they still would not come. No one was willing. Now I ask you? If nobody comes, does this mean I have not sent you?
Based on my own word, how can you possibly think such things? People listening or not listening to you is no more proof or evidence that I did or did not send you. Tell the devil to flee, and remember I am with thee, even to the ends of the earth.”

Day 1: Who is hindering you?

ME UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL.jpgYesterday I was led (by the Holy Spirit) To attend a certain church, and I did follow his leading. My bible says His sheep (go in and out) and find pasture. We are led by the Holy Spirit, who is in agreement with God the Father, and Jesus the Son.

Words were spoken over me, and I want to highlight a particular Word that I was to be still, listen, get a journal and write down what God wants to say to me. “You’ve been talking so much” the Spirit said, that God can hardly get a word in edgewise!” (WHOA!!) ……..

This morning God spoke Matthew 16 to my heart, and He also elaborated on it for me. The teachings of the Pharisees and Sadducees, while seeming to Honor God’s Word, actually hindered people from running their race, in Christ. This is why Jesus was so concerned that his disciples “beware” of these teachings. Teachings that teach to scrutinize, analyze, and be overly concerned about sin, methods of doing things, whether how you are doing it is right or wrong, all of this cuts in on us, and keeps us from walking in the Spirit, running our race, and even learning from the Holy Spirit. See? While I was focusing so hard on whether what I am doing is right or wrong; I was praying too much, talking too much, worrying too much, and all because, I wanted so desperately to get things right!

God surprised me by giving me a Word of correction I did not quite expect. Are we trusting Him to teach us today? (By His Spirit?) Or are we trusting in the doctrines of men?
