Sharing this great Word today from a fellow blogger! So true!
Blessed are the Merciful…..Because, God is Merciful! Is Mercy weakness?
Well again I had other plans today, but the Lord began to speak to me about Mercy. He wanted me to share what it means to me, personally. Matthew 5: Blessed are the merciful for they will be shown mercy………
Most who know me, know I have a testimony about deliverance, but they do not know how many times I showed mercy, and how I DO NOT REGRET IT!
Nope, I have no regrets about showing mercy, hundreds and thousands of times! What does mercy mean, exactly? It means the person deserving of Punishment, does not get punished. Holding your tongue, not giving that lecture, not striking back, when someone strikes you! Someone says mean hurtful things, you keep your mouth quiet and go cry, pray, sob, and say “deliver me from this evil Lord!” They say they are sorry, do it again, and again, and again, and you forgive them, 70 times 7 and beyond!
I just don’t talk about it, but yes I have done this. Mercy is when someone steals from you, and you not only forgive, you say Okay Father “you pay me back” I’m giving this to you! Mercy is when someone tries to cut you off on the road, and after you shriek in horror you say “Father please help them slow down, and not hurt anyone!”
Mercy is when, someone has hurt you so bad you can hardly see straight, but they come and ask you for prayer, and you pray anyway. Mercy is what that Father Gave, to his prodigal son, that came down the road after blowing his inheritance on women and song.
Mercy is closely related to love, forgiveness, kindness, and generosity. Mercy is a God quality. God says his mercy triumphs over judgment! “blessed are the merciful” Jesus states in Matthew 5, for they shall obtain Mercy. Funny he didn’t say “give your heart to me!” Instead, he revealed his heart to the masses, then invited them to come to himself.
If we think mercy is for the weak, the doormats, or those with no backbone, we do not know Jesus at all. He was and is, MERCIFUL!
Now, I don’t believe he was born to be anyone’s whipping post, and I don’t believe we were either. We can be merciful, and still refuse to take abuse from others on a continuing or daily basis. This is what I was talking about with my deliverance from a messed up bad marriage, which was not God’s will for my life. I had mercy, forgave the same things thousands of times. I AM NOT SORRY I DID THAT! I needed the practice!
Mercy is a God quality, one we all need to be informed about! If we are swift to punish, retaliate, strike back, lash out, and make plans on how to get revenge……
We are almost asking God to give us a big harvest of the same, when we mess up! And this is my take on Mercy, I need it, so I sow it. I am not perfect, so I forgive those who are not! Simple! Father, thank you for being Strong enough to show Mercy! You are not faint of heart and neither are we Father! Help us to walk in the supernatural, and in your Mercy!
Can we really afford not to be merciful? Mercy! Get some today!

Coping with difficult people, and The Spirit of Love in the bible….OVER ALL! -by Laura grace
Sometimes I just pray and hope and yes, even wish, for the right words, to get across what’s in my spirit about God, His Laws and His love! So Father, give me the words, please in Jesus’ name…..Amen.
I am sharing here, my personal revelation, which is precious to me. Treasures of my Heart, given to me by God, because I was chosen to share certain things with his friends, and with his people, who long to know.
Now, with that said, I will also share, that I have had difficulties with people, many times! Have you? Of course you have! What we have to discern is this: Are they helpful? Are they of the body of Christ, or are they just curiosity seekers? Are they wolves?
There are types that are Religious (Pharisee like) who like to spy on people’s liberty, and try to trip them up, by pointing out the laws they are not keeping.
There are wolves (enemies) who pretend to be Christian, so they can devour, cause trouble, steal precious time and resources, and never become part of God’s family. They only cause trouble, and they are pretenders, who have no intention of ever changing.
Then, there are those infected with sin. For the Body of Christ, the sin we need to be concerned about, is the type that infects everyone, rather like a contagious disease would do, in our natural bodies. We don’t need to be jumpy about mistakes, freaking out or being in a big hurry to “cast out someone” Just because they do not agree with our ideals.
Now at any given time, our own bodies are doing 1000’s of things at one time. The muscle does it’s job, the nerves, the joints, the ligaments. They don’t have to consult each other, or agree, to know what their part is “within” the Body. For a person who understands walking in the spirit, it all just flows, just as a healthy Body “flows with the Head,” so does the Body of Christ “flow with the head” which Is Jesus Christ.
The last Category, Sheep and goats, is what we struggle with most, in the church. The Goat nature is much different than a sheep like nature. When I think of a Goat, almost the first picture I get in my mind, is how a goat will run up behind someone and “butt them” with their horns! Funny in a way, but not so funny in real life. Jesus actually said the goats would not have a part, when the separation occurs. Now, I didn’t give you all the scripture, but everything I just said, is completely based on scripture.
What are we to do then? The way I see it, the bible spells out we love God first, Jesus is our Shepherd, The Holy Spirit is our teacher, so listening to him is the first priority. The second is loving the Brethren (Body of Christ) and caring for each other. Then outreach to others. If you are so into outreach to the masses you kick your brother in the head over it, I don’t see how that is biblical. “IF YOU GIVE” a cup of cold water to “these my brethren” Jesus said (KJV) which gets changed in other bible translations.
Giving “First” to the house hold of faith is another word we find in the new Testament. We don’t let our own kids go hungry while we feed the neighbors! amen?
HOW WE DEAL with each situation is up to the Holy Spirit, because we still walk by the Spirit, no matter what the situation! amen! We walk by faith, even when dealing with people! Nothing changes.
Love for one another as described in the passage above, means to remind each other who we are, what we are doing, why we are here, and why we should press on! So I LOVE YOU!
that’s why I sent you this message! Truly, I do! Father, I have utmost confidence in you that you will get your Body (of people) together and cause us to be healthy and to flow with each other! Please help us identify the wolves, goats, Pharisees and infectious diseases of sin which need to be dealt with. Father I pray! give us ears to hear and eyes to see what your Spirit is saying to your People right now! I believe for this Father! with all my heart!
With love and affection for you all, and Amen

So, How do we prepare, exactly?
Prophets cay Prepare. but how do we prepare?
Not just by study but by a ready heart and mind
While we know we cannot purify ourselves, we do
have to participate by receiving God’s best for us
via our prayer. Even Mary (Mother of Jesus) said
in response to a promise from an Angel:
“Let it be done to me, according to thy word.”
Nothing is automatic. We are not on some spiritual
auto-pilot, after we get Saved. We always will need
to participate with God, and cooperate with Him in
this experience we call “Our Great Salvation.”
What did God mean when he said to His Prophets’
“Brace yourself like a man and I will speak!” He
meant, prepare yourself to let your ideas about this
go out the window! Prepare to let go of your own
ideas! This is what purification really is, a separation
from the fleshly ideas- and receiving God’s ideas instead.
Love to you all! Laura Grace
Etched In Stone: Yes, it’s personal
Just as God wrote the 10 commandments on a slab of rock, He now wants to etch his words, into our very hearts and minds. This is what He did with the early disciples, and they became other sons, doing great and mighty exploits for Him. They didn’t have bibles, they were testimonies of what God prophesied He would do in the Old Testament. “I will write my laws on their hearts…….”
In Hebrews, 1-:16, as with many New Testament scriptures, the promise is written again, so that we find it in both the old, and the new. “I will write my laws into their hearts and minds, I will remember their sins no more.” His Laws. His directives. His revelation. His words to us, personally. Its part of the covenant we enter into, with Him. We give Him all of us, He gives us all of him. The only thing is, we can only receive so much at a time, because we live in a body of flesh and blood.
This is what God said to me. “Once I etch something into the heart and mind of a believer, it’s etched in stone.” They alone stand (are) accountable between me and them. To draw back (away) From what I have said to a believer, is to insult my spirit of Grace. (Heb 10:29)
To sin willfully, is to deliberately go against what I have told a person. This is personal, between me and them. It’s like if you told your daughter to wash the floor. Soon you find out she didn’t. She says, “My brother wasn’t, so I didn’t either.” Are you amused? No, you are not amused.” So you see, people are not accountable until God has spoken something to them (personally) and has etched it into their heart.
Walking by the Spirit (of God) is so crucial, so important, I cannot emphasize this enough. We need to stay focused on what God wants to say to US my friends, and if he does give us insight into the life of another, They will have already been prepared by God to hear it.
I pray right now for a Spirit of Obedience and submission to be upon us Father, that you would clearly reveal to your people, what you are saying to them today, and help them to receive this blessing, of your very words, being etched into their hearts and minds, just as we are also etched into the very palms of your hand. IN Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Power of Testimony …and the role of the accuser …….
Hi Everyone!
Just want to share a little about the power of Testimony today. A testimony is when you have been a personal witness, of God doing something miraculous in yours, or someone else’s life. It could be you saw someone raised from the dead, or you were healed, or you had God provide for you in a miraculous way.
If you don’t get out much, you may not realize, some churches do not allow testimonies, and some welcome them fully! Jesus clearly said to his Disciples, they would be his “witnesses” and indeed, they were witnesses not only to the miracles he performed, but later on, miracles performed via themselves!
Now, when someone says they were healed supernaturally (and testify about it) or any other miracles God has performed in their lives, it’s inevitable the accuser (the devil) will stir someone to say “I did that, I wasn’t healed!” and claim the person testifying must be a liar, or they are Misrepresenting God somehow.
God says to me (I wrote this in my journal) We are accountable to preach and say what we know to be true, which he has etched into our very hearts by His Spirit.
It’s not my place to defend God, as he is well able to defend himself, if he deems it is needed.
You can choose, whether to be build up in your Faith but the power of Testimonies, or not. The bible is full of records of miraculous healings, deliverance, supernatural provision, hearts turning to God and becoming full of Joy, and people burning their sorcery junk in the middle of the street.
Jesus was so real to Peter, James, John, Matthew, Thomas, and others….they were willing to die for their faith and belief in Jesus Christ as a person, who was very personal, and very real, to them.
We need him to be that real to us! How we achieve that, is between us and God! What your testimony turns out to be, is also between you, and God. One thing I know I don’t want to be, is an accuser *of the brethren, such as those who make it their life’s aim to say “well that can’t be true.” God (as I have seen) is very big on jumping straight out of the boxes, we try to contain him in.
Yes, your testimony may just bring out the worst in people (sometimes). Testify anyway!
Someone out there, needs to hear it! with love and hope, Faith and believing…..
Til next time! Laura Grace
You get what you Prepare for!
What are you preparing for? Right now?
You know, years ago, the scripture I got ahold of, is that if one is faithful over little, He will be trusted with much. This applies to everything, including being a steward over Spiritual things, which God gives us.
I prepared this table, the guests showed up! Part of the preparation, was to invite the guests! If They said no, I invited someone else!
What we get, is what we prepare for. Years ago, I prepared to be a guitar player, worship leader, and I kept hearing those words in my spirit, “Faithful with a little, trusted with much.” Lots of people want to do great things, but do not wish to prepare for it.
Guess what? The doors opened! The river (and God) find a way!
If you want to see miracles, start believing for miracles over little things. Pray when you go eat! Pray over weird things, like “I pray” You will bless this woman’s hands, to give me a great hair cut today” (I’ve done it many times!) One time I didn’t! And I got a really bad hair cut too! I have a free will, you have a free will.
You can prepare your mind to receive miracles, see blessings, see God move in your life, and you CAN prepare yourself to hear from him too!
You can prepare for a fight, prepare for a job, prepare for a vacation. Many people spend their time plotting how to do evil! They prepare themselves for the next time they are going to “Spoil” Or wreck someone’s day!
How can we possibly prepare for the last days? For disaster? If you do not prepare to be a faith person, having faith in the little things, assuming you can just figure it out yourself (and not bother God about it) how do you expect to have faith for big things?
If you prepare yourself to receive from God, starting out small, keeping a journal, writing down what you are expecting (from Him) believe me, it will happen eventually.
You want to hear from Him? Be a Water walker? See miracles Happen? Don’t miss an opportunity to practice! Right now I’m preparing for some things…….
And there are some things….I”ve been preparing for years to be READY! What you prepare for, you will receive. One day God will say okay “You’re Ready” Now Get Set, now GO!” …….As you think about preparation, remember, God is not in a hurry. He’s never in a panic, He’s never freaked out! Neither should we be!
With Love, Laura Grace

When Marriage Works. by Laura Grace
So this is me, and Tim, we are goofing off in ND In this picture. I think we are at a car show, not sure!
I did say I would post today about Marriage, and when it works! First you have to love each other, for real. None of this “getting a wife” so you can remain an eternal child, or someone to mop up your messes because you are an addict who never plans to change or even get help, when it is offered to you.
You are not getting a wife to be a punching bag, not marrying a guy to be your meal ticket, or just because you’re afraid to be alone, or whatever else.
You don’t have to be a pastor and his wife, for things to work out. Nobody has a perfect marriage, I don’t care what they tell you, I do not believe it! Better, I think to have God in the middle, and to believe in prayer. I believe it increases your chances of making it, but that’s just me. I love Tim. He’s made me mad, made me sad, made me rant and rave, and he once roared away on a motorcycle because I upset him so much.
He once threw the title of our mobile home at me and said “I’d be better off without him.” I”ve called him names, cried, insisted he get up in the night to “Hash it out” with me in our earlier years. I make him breakfast almost every single day, a hot breakfast! He crawls around under the house just because I want a phone installed……..
with spiders……and he works in pain and in hot horrible jobs, to make sure I’m okay. He’s fixed all our vehicles, laying on the pavement in the hot, in the freezing cold, and read manuals for several cars to save us mechanic bills. He installs lights for me, Just because I want a different fixture. He listens to me, he used to hog the remote but not anymore! Have we had fights? Yes we have! Have we wondered sometimes if we made a big mistake? Yes again! But here’s the thing, WE love each other. He told me once “I see myself with you for the rest of my life” He prayed lots of times but in the beginning he prayed “Help us never lose the Joy and wonder of being together.”
I pray for him, all the time. He tells me “you are so good to me” (and really, I am!)
I’m not going to lie and tell you it’s all magical, but I will tell you this. I take marriage vows seriously. I take my promises to my friends seriously, and I most especially take my covenant with God VERY seriously! And, My willingness to Grow and my excitement over growing, and willingness to admit when I’m wrong….all that has helped us both!
Because I was in an abusive marriage for so long, I was a bit messed up. Not all the way messed up but, I was messed up. Our past affects us, whether we like it or not. Most abused people, wind up feeling they have suffered enough and get a big attitude. I had one for awhile “mess with me, you are toast!” ……Not a good thing, not a good attitude if you want to grow. And Because God INTENDED we find the right spouse the first time, starting out in your 40’s is no picnic either!
I don’t believe in one person being always right and the other one is always wrong. Even in my past marriage situation, I made mistakes and with God’s help worked hard to correct ME and I never would have left if it had not been impossible to solve.
So, I do believe in marriage! And there will be ups and downs in all of them!
Communication is huge, Being humble, nobody calling all the shots, and being fair, Just, kind, loving …….OH MY GOSH! I Just realized you have to GROW To have a great marriage! Ain’t that a kick! And He has, and I have (grown, together).
Next March is 15 years together. Love You Tim! We have had so much fun together at times……but we are like that song “we can work it out, we can work it out” ……..(The Beatles) and with God’s help, we always do!
From me, Laura, your loving wife! (Thanks for Marrying me, and being my friend!!)

Divorce. that controversial subject!

I posted a video on You Tube today. It’s 10 minutes long, and it’s on the subject of Divorce. AND if you visit Grace to the Rescue, my site on FB you can find it, it’s the last thing I posted there, just today!
There’s a person I”ve been praying for, for several years now, and I just found out about the extent of abuse she’s been going through for years! IT was love that lifted her. God’s love, God’s unconditional love (and Mercy) Is what reached her heart. Not Scolding, not being told how much God hates divorce, and not a big lecture on how she married him so just stay put, and take it some more.
I fail to understand how so many Christians can reach out to drug addicts, homeless people, go overseas and minister to the masses over there, but fail to see a hurting person right in front of their eyes, that needs them desperately.
I have forgiven a lot of people who wouldn’t listen to me, who didn’t care. God showed me some of them were not in his will, I forgave them anyway. I prayed for them. But, I will tell you something, I’m not going to BE Like them! Jesus said not to! He said don’t be like those who sit in their seats in their self righteous ways.
Guess what? Even back then, the church (Temple) was running the show. Jesus did not preach there not for long! Why? They threw him out! SO, if you do go to church, find one that preaches freedom, restoration, healing, and love! K? And if you can’t find one like that, don’t go! That’s my advice if you really want to know Jesus. He is real, he longs to help you! go watch my video if you have time.
Love and prayers, Laura Grace
